English Brazil was created with this philosophy, of providing a place where you don´t study the English language, you live it. Through our online activities, a daily normal routine is reproduced in coaching, well-being, entrepreneurship sessions, all of them in English. Along with the community sessions, conversation events are perfect for removing blocks and unlocking your speaking.

We are an English Community, created to bring English to Brazil as a strong second language. We know that until we speak the language, we only know “about” the language. We are here to integrate English for Brazilians to use daily and to have fun too.
We engage in online activities to provide a culture of learning, thinking, and interacting with each other to help each other. We focus on Brazil to make us a country that is highly competitive in any way with English as a basis for business and travel.

In order to get English sunk in your mind all you have to do is to learn like an alien ! An alien doesn't have a human native language to translate so they need to get this information observing others stuffs, like the way people talking, the body movements, the facial expressions.
It's the same way children learn how to speak in their native language: the observation, listening and repeating. It takes a while, but worth it !!!

My name is Maria Conceição Costa Lourenço, I’m 63 years old and I live in Fortaleza -Ceará. I decided to learn some English about five years ago! Someone talked to me about Duolingo and I started to study ! Since then I’ve never stoped to do daily lessons! My biggest dificulty was speaking! I’m shy and I couldn’t think about speaking to someone in another language! However, four months ago I was invited by Duolingo to join to a conversation group! At first I hesitated but nowadays I can’t wait for our meetings! I’m more confident, my speaking is improving day a day and now I’m sure that I’m learning a new language! We talk about some things light, simple and even funny! Everyone in the group is friendly and it makes me feel really good!! I love beeing with them! I really recommend it!! Bye!!!!

We have a variety of CS (conversation sessions) and classes to choose from and with combos. These Plans will give you the opportunity to practice more English, engage with our community on a deeper level and be a part of the right environment in order to feel comfortable speaking English regularly and more fluently.
You can enroll in any of the Plans and use the English you have. There are many levels of speakers in the groups and that is ok. We learn by copying other people speaking and adding to our vocabulary and pronunciation. We are an English speaking community, helping each other.
